Linganore High School Marching Band
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: We have been provided the tentative schedule for our October 24th MMBA show and it is going to be the largest we have ever hosted and the planners are making very detailed plans and instructions for everyone. We anticipate 40% more students and staff (and a lot more spectators too) than we had at our last regionals in 2024. It is more important than ever that all of our parents - past band parents too - volunteer for spots if at all possible. Thank you!

Marching Band Festival
OCTOBER 12
Get ready for an evening of music, marching, and school spirit! Frederick County Public Schools will host its annual High School Marching Band Festival on Monday, October 12, at 6 p.m. at Urbana High School.
Come out and support all 10 FCPS high school marching bands as they showcase their musical and marching talents. The festival will also feature an exhibition performance by the Shenandoah University Marching Band.
Admission is $6 for adults and $2 for students. Children age 7 and under, adults age 60 and older, and FCPS employees and retirees are admitted free.
Cash will be accepted at the door, and credit/debit cards are also accepted with a 3% surcharge on all non-cash purchases.
FCPS families and community members are encouraged to attend and celebrate the hard work, dedication and accomplishments of our talented high school marching band students and directors!
We are excited to be hosting the 2026 Western Regionals for MMBA on October 24, 2026.
Booster Binder: What Is It?
Booster Binder is a new online platform that the LHS Band is using for a variety of reasons:
Each family member gets an individual account (not required for students unless they want one)
You can upload your student forms to your profile.
Easy access to the Google calendar.
All volunteer and donation sign ups in one place, and each competition, game, or event organized by date.
Minutes from Booster meetings available in one spot.
Ability to send bulk emails to members.
In the future the platform can be used for Inventory of band owned items or uniforms, file management, and more.

Our indoor guard and percussion season is over, but before you know it we will be starting our fall competition schedule! Stay tuned for more information.
Click HERE to join our photo drive. You will fill out a questionnaire, and once verified, you will receive a link for the photo drive. Then you can share photos and videos throughout the season. Photos may be used in the year end banquet video or in our social media. Current band students and their families can request to join.
